Awards and Grants

  • Portland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce
    In 1991, the Portland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce recognized the AIM Program for its outstanding support of business and industry. The award was created to recognize outstanding university and college programs that serve adult students and specifically contribute to meeting labor and employer needs in the Portland metropolitan area.
  • R1edu
    R1edu is a consortium of research universities that pool their resources and knowledge to provide access to distance learning courses and reference materials. Each year, they recognize outstanding faculty for their work in online education. In 2004, Linda Ettinger, AIM Academic Director, and Jane Maitland-Gholson received the award for their innovative work with the AIM Online Program.
