AIM Program—Graduation 2008

This year graduates of the Applied Information Management Program will participate in the University of Oregon Summer Convocation. Students who complete Capstone in either Winter or Summer 2008 are encouraged to attend.

UO Summer Convocation is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, on the Memorial Quad (to the north of the Knight Library) in Eugene, OR. It is open to the public, and friends and family are welcome to attend. Tickets are not needed. The ceremony will last until approximately 11:30 a.m. For more information about the main UO ceremony, visit the Student Life website.

Immediately after the main ceremony, the AIM Program will hold a lunch reception in honor of all graduates on the Pioneer Mother Lawn, which is adjacent to the Memorial Quad, between Hendricks and Campbell Halls. During the luncheon, Dr. Linda F. Ettinger, AIM Academic Director, will announce the Capstone Award winners for 2008. After the luncheon, AIM graduates, their family and friends are welcome to visit the Eugene campus if they would like to do so.

Please RSVP no later than August 1 to Sonya Faust by sending a message to aim@uoregon.edu. Let us know how many people to expect in your party and which events you'll be attending. (Please be as specific as possible as to how many in your group will be attending each separate event.)

More details about Summer Graduation are available on the AIM Commencement page.
