2009 AIM Winter Term Course Registration

Students new to the program should register for Virtual Learning and Teams (VLT) no later than December 5 and Electronic Information and Research by January 23. VLT is the first course students take and the prerequisite for all other AIM online courses.

Creating Business Solutions with Technology is the winter term core course for online students. Data Mining (a 2 credit course) has replaced the usual three-credit winter core course for Portland Program students. Register for these courses no later than December 5.

Both winter term short courses are offered online. Portland Program students should register for Managing IT/IS Security. Online student may register for either IT and Ethics or Managing IT/IS Security. (Note: there will be an ethics course onsite for Portland Program students spring term, so they should not take the winter term online ethics course.)

Students who have not previous taken AIM courses are welcome to register for Virtual Learning and Teams. Students do not have to be admitted to register.

Students using financial aid and/or veterans benefits should be sure to register for all courses they'll be taking in the term at the same time. You must be registered for at least five credits to receive financial aid. Note: since Portland Program students will be registering for four credits at most winter term, they will not be eligible for financial aid. If you have concerns, please contact Sonya Faust, AIM Program Coordinator.

Register now or contact the AIM Program for more information by calling (800) 824-2714 or by sending e-mail to aim@uoregon.edu.
