Linda Ettinger has been a faculty member at the University of Oregon since 1983. Since 1986 she has been the Academic Director of the Applied Information Management Master's Degree Program (IS:AIM). In this role she oversees curriculum development, faculty and student participation, and program policy. She also teaches the culminating research course titled AIM Capstone. Dr. Ettinger was part of the initial AIM planning team, organized in 1984, to design the interdisciplinary curriculum, working in collaboration with Tektronix Inc. In 1990, Dr. Ettinger participated in a state-wide FIPSE grant project, directed through the Chancellor's Office, and led the effort to make AIM the UO's first completely online master's program.
