Course Dates and Workload Requirements

All AIM Program courses are available online 24/7. Core courses run seven weeks in fall, winter, and spring, and six weeks in summer. Short courses run four weeks. All courses begin on a Monday and end on a Friday. Students should expect to spend at least twelve to fifteen hours per week on coursework for core courses (3 credits) and nine to twelve hours per week for short courses (2 credits). Students are assigned to one of two scheduling tracks (either Green or Yellow) as a way to maintain small classes. AIM students are considered part-time graduate students.

Should you have difficulties completing your course of online study due to changes in employment, family issues, military assignments, health or medical developments, please contact the Program Coordinator as soon as possible.

The University of Oregon is working to continually improve the inclusivity of our learning environments. Please notify your instructor or the AIM Director if there are aspects of the instruction or design of an AIM course that result in disability-related barriers to your participation. You are also encouraged to contact the Accessible Education Center in 164 Oregon Hall at 541-346-1155 or uoaec@uoregon.edu. We will do everything we can to ensure your success.
