She managed an undergraduate teacher education program, taught undergraduate courses in The Arts and Visual Literacy, and graduate courses in Research Methods and Arts Program Evaluation. Jane has advised both Masters and Doctoral research. She has said that the experience of middle school teaching is "the best and worst of preparation for anything that follows." Jane is at her happiest in the teaching/learning environment, whether face-to-face or virtual, where complex, interdependent, interactive processes are forever fascinating and even exhilarating.
