Organization Information:
University College of the Fraser Valley is located in Abbotsford, B.C. and serves approximately 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The mission of the library is to serve as a primary location for student life activities, both individual and group, which center on learning, study and research (a "learning commons").

AIM affiliation since 2004.
Prior to her return to beautiful British Columbia, Colleen spent nine years at the University of Oregon as Library Instruction Coordinator. She has been teaching graduate and undergraduate courses on information research, culture and the Internet, and the social-political issues of information access since 1994. She also participated in library planning, working with faculty to integrate the library and technology into their courses, and helping librarians to become better teachers. Colleen is also very accomplished in web development and design, having designed several Web sites and developed PHP-based applications for a variety of library-related and non-profit organizations.
