Kara has over fifteen years experience in project management. She currently manages a group of project managers, QA analysts and developers at OHSU. Prior to this position, she trained IT staff in project management techniques and aided in the delivery of IT projects from development to implementation. Kara is an active member of OHSU's Project Management Committee and has more than ten years of experience teaching project management and IT courses for a variety of universities. She is now pursuing her doctorate in Education with a specialization is Postsecondary, Adult and Continuing Education from Portland State University in the Educational Leadership Program.
