Sharon has consulted with and coached managers and executives in industry and government for more than twenty years. Prior to launching her consulting practice in the late '80s, she worked for two Fortune 100 companies. She returned to school in midlife to earn a Ph.D. in an interdisciplinary program where she could pursue her particular interest in the issues of women in leadership roles. She is the founder of the Women's Center for Applied Leadership located in Portland. When not working or traveling, she can be found most often in her garden or listening to classical music.
