Registration Policy

Preregistration is required for all AIM Program courses. A late fee may apply if you do not register by the registration deadline (which is typically four weeks before the course starts.)

You may register online or by calling 800-824-2714. If you are using financial aid and are registering for the first time as a new student, please call 800-824-2714 to set up your account BEFORE registering online.

Tuition must be paid in full before the first class day/session.

To drop a course, contact the AIM Program Coordinator at Tuition refunds are only available to students who officially drop a course by the refund deadline.

Non-admitted Students

Non-admitted students meeting the basic admission criteria (a bachelor's degree and five years work experience) may register for the online orientation course, Virtual Learning and Teams (VLT) after receiving approval from the AIM Director. In order to verify that the three admission criteria are met, we require a current resume and degree transcript for review prior to the course registration deadline. After successfully completing VLT, non-admitted students may register for other AIM Program courses.

Students may take up to 12 credits prior to being formally admitted to the program. Credits taken prior to admission count toward the number needed to complete the degree as long as you earn a grade of B or better in the graded courses and a pass in the pass/no pass courses.

AIM Alumni

AIM graduates may audit short courses, if space is available. The reduced tuition rate applies only to certain short courses taken on a non-credit basis. Check the current list of upcoming courses for details.

The Applied Information Management Master's Degree is an Interdisciplinary Studies program through the Graduate School.
