Darin Stewart is currently vice president of Research and Development at Gartner. Previous to this role, Stewart was a research director for the Collaboration and Content Strategies group at Gartner. His responsibilities covered a broad range of technologies that together comprise enterprise content management. These included web content management, document management, search, taxonomy, and semantics.
Prior to joining Gartner, Stewart served as a director of research and collaboration systems for Oregon Health & Science University where he was responsible for research and research administration information systems, web and intranet initiatives, and workflow applications.
Stewart holds a PhD in Information Science and is author of the book,Â Building Enterprise Taxonomies.
The Applied Information Management Master's Degree is an Interdisciplinary Studies program through the Graduate School.
