Tucker began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Dallas, Texas before switching to academics He has taught for University of Arkansas, Cascade College, and is currently a full-time faculty member at Concordia University where he serves as chair of the accounting program. He and his wife live in Fairview. They enjoy hiking in the Columbia River Gorge, are Portland Trail Blazers fans, and have held season tickets to Blazer games since 2010. They have four children and seven grandchildren. Tucker is also active in community service. He serves on the boards of Northwest Children's Theater and School and Columbia Christian Schools, and is a member of the Rotary Club of Downtown Portland.

Organization Information

The Concordia University-Portland Accounting department provides students with the interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills needed to approach, analyze, and shape financial practices within a business or organization. Students also learn how to apply technology in the accounting field.

The Applied Information Management Master's Degree is an Interdisciplinary Studies program through the Graduate School.
