AIM Faculty Presenting at Catalyst Conference

Darin Stewart, PhD

AIM faculty member Darin Stewart, PhD is attending the 2012 Gartner Catalyst Conference in San Diego, August 20-23. The conference theme, geared towards IT practitioners, architects, and strategists, is "Any Device, Any Service, Any Source." Darin is presenting five sessions, titled:

  • Information Mobility and the User;
  • From Information Overload to Abundance, Chaos to Control;
  • What Is Metadata, What's It Used For, and What's Its Value?;
  • Evolving Techniques: Semantic Web and Social Graphs;
  • Collaboration and Content Management in the Cloud.

In addition to teaching for the AIM Program, Dr. Stewart is a Research Director in the Technical Professionals group at Gartner Inc.
